Get the shorter type)<\/li>\n<li>Dowels\u00a0\u00a0 7\/8th\u00a0 x\u00a0 36&#8243;<\/li>\n<li>Fine sand paper (optional but helps paint stick)<\/li>\n<li>Spray paint of choice.<\/li>\n<li>Clear gloss coating for protection. (optional)<\/li>\n<li>Ric Rac that matches.<\/li>\n<li>Glue Gun<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1>Visual Instructions<\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0 Lightly sand the CD&#8217;s. Center the ric rac on the edge of the disc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9637\" src=\"http:\/\/ourpeacefulplanet.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/31.jpg\" alt=\"3\" width=\"640\" height=\"596\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-59\" src=\"http:\/\/ourpeacefulplanet.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/blank.png\" alt=\"blank\" width=\"640\" height=\"27\" \/><br \/>\nAttach the dowel (which can be painted if desired) by using a huge blob of hot glue. The glue will go through the CD center at which point you quickly place the cup over the hole onto the glue that has bled through. Again, use a large amount! The 5\/8&#8243; dowel allows the CD and cup to sit very securely if enough glue is used.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9638\" src=\"http:\/\/ourpeacefulplanet.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/41.jpg\" alt=\"CD Treat Holder DIY\" width=\"640\" height=\"758\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-59\" src=\"http:\/\/ourpeacefulplanet.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/blank.png\" alt=\"blank\" width=\"640\" height=\"27\" \/><br \/>\nThis shows treat holders without the dowel attached yet.\u00a0 I did put a little glue on the bottom of the cups to attach them before attaching the dowel. The above method works well also with no pre-gluing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9639\" src=\"http:\/\/ourpeacefulplanet.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/51.jpg\" alt=\"CD Treat Holder DIY\" width=\"640\" height=\"565\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-59\" src=\"http:\/\/ourpeacefulplanet.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/blank.png\" alt=\"blank\" width=\"640\" height=\"27\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The dowel can be stuck into the ground if the ground is soft. My ground was a bit hard so I used a hammer and a plain dowel to make a hole first.
