So there are no photos of it being built. I&#8217;ve had requests for it so here it is! It was made to fit my exact desk space and it was Roy&#8217;s first attempt at this type of project so it&#8217;s not perfection but I love it. Roy uses the free software <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sketchup.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Google Sketchup<\/a> to design what he makes and we&#8217;ve included that file as a free download. Bear in mind, it&#8217;s to fit my space. If you make your own you would need to adjust the file in Google Sketchup to fit your own space. This organizer fit on my <a href=\"http:\/\/ourpeacefulplanet.com\/2016\/07\/14\/home-office-built-in-desk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">home office desk<\/a> Roy had made me previously. It comes with the Google Sketchup file you can adjust to fit your own needs\" width=\"630\" height=\"420\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Like I mentioned in the into, I did a post where I painted and added some bling to these <a href=\"http:\/\/ourpeacefulplanet.com\/2016\/05\/26\/plastic-drawers-makeover-for-desk-organizing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">small plastic drawers<\/a>. I used them and the other items you see in that spot. But they just weren&#8217;t enough to hold everything I needed.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-29501\" src=\"http:\/\/ourpeacefulplanet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/Wood-Desk-Organizer-2.jpg\" alt=\"We built this lovely custom desk organizer with some basic wood tools. It comes with the Google Sketchup file you can adjust to fit your own needs\" width=\"630\" height=\"850\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I gave Roy a very general idea of what I would like and he came up with this idea in Google Sketch. I loved it. I had double the drawer space and a post for my binders. Plus a place for letters etc.\u00a0 It was important that my fan be able to come off the desk and sit on the shelf. Ends up he mis-measured and had to add on an extra piece. He was so mad!
