Yep. You can use an exacto knife which would look better. Several photos down you can see we did it just polking the end of scissors through.

Do you need to cut the center out of the paper so the ball can rest and not push up the paper? Thank you – looks like a great fine motor activity!

I enjoyed looking at the crafts especially the spinning tops. So simple to make but what fun.
Looking forward to making mine.
The frame for the doggy paw print ideal for sentimental value.
I have been saving plastic lids for a “just in case I need one idea” I will be taking a closer look at the idea
for making a pendant.
